MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College cross country teams announced their 2017 schedule of meets today. The Hawks will compete in seven races this year.
Saint Anselm has a busy month of September as the Hawks will compete in four meets during the first month of the fall. The month begins with the 36th annual Shacklette Invitational held on the campus of Saint Anselm on Sept. 2. The women's team finished second at the meet last season, led by race-winner Shannon Conley, while the men finished third with Nate Shannon leading the way in sixth place.
The following week the Hawks travel to Northampton, Mass. for the Smith College Invite on Sept. 9 before taking the trip out to Notre Dame, Ind. for the National Catholic Invitational at the University of Notre Dame. Saint Anselm wraps up the month with a trip to Gordon College on Sept. 23 for the Pop Crowell Invitational.
There are only two races in the month of October with the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University serving as the first meet on Oct. 9. Saint Anselm will then gear up for the NE10 Championships hosted by American International on October 21.
Two weeks later on Nov. 4, the Hawks will travel to the Audubon Golf Course in Amherst, N.Y. for the NCAA East Regionals, with the National Championship taking place on November 18 at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind.
