MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's soccer team led No. 16-ranked Adelphi University on a Kiley Larocque goal, but the Panthers rallied for a 2-1 overtime victory behind a pair of goals from Jeanine Nunez on Saturday at Melucci Field.

Box Score

After a scoreless first half, Larocque put Saint Anselm (2-3-0, 0-3-0 NE10) on top in the 59th minute with her second-career goal. However, Nunez brought nationally-ranked Adelphi (4-0-0, 3-0-0 NE10) even five minutes later and won it 2:24 into overtime to keep the Panthers unbeaten. Larocque's goal was just the third allowed by the Panthers in four games this season.

The Hawks outshot the Panthers 7-2 in the scoreless first 45 minutes and took the lead less than 15 minutes into the second half on Larocque's strike. Corey Murray flicked a Nicole White corner to Suzanne Cotter, who settled the ball for Larocque, who turned and rifled the ball into the top-left corner of the net.

Just 5:04 later, Nunez scored the equalizer for Adelphi, heading in a Savannah Taylor cross from the left in the middle six yards out. The Panthers held a 12-7 advantage in shots after the interval but the teams stayed locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

After firing a shot wide 49 seconds into overtime, Nunez won it for Adelphi in the 93rd minute, collecting a long ball over the top from Taylor Sipos and finishing across the goalkeeper from the right side of the box for her fifth of the season.

Isabel Sandstrom made three saves for the visitors to earn her fourth victory of the season. Elise Bouchard fell to 2-2-0 on the year despite four saves for the Hawks.
